Developing the skills of staff is a crucial element in running
successful organisations. It is becoming increasingly important
for Social Economy organisations - in a new funding environment,
with increasing competition for resources, and a move for organisations
to perform with a more business like approach.
Glasgow North Regeneration Agency is delivering a programme called Essential Skills
for the Social Economy. The purpose of the programme is to:
- help
organisations to develop their policies & procedures for supporting
staff training & development
- provide
free, high quality training to local social economy (not-for-profit)
organisations - tailored to the specific needs of your organisation
The training
on offer will depend on needs identified, but will look to include
the likes of:
- managing
people
- accessing
funding & project managing
- employment
legislation
- ICT skills
& Customer care
- Book-keeping
& financial management
- Marketing
your organisation
The programme has been funded by European Social Fund Objective
3, Scottish Enterprise Glasgow, & North Glasgow Social Inclusion
