Funding Research & Support
GRNA offers advice and support to help organisations identify and access grant funding for an organisation or project. This includes help to identify appropriate funding sources, advice in developing a funding strategy, advice/support in completing funding applications and access to funding workshops. We deliver the following funding workshops on at least an annual basis:
- Introduction to Fundraising
- Developing a Fundraising Strategy
- Completing Funding Application
Funding Profiles
Social Economy Organisations are being encouraged more and more to diversify their funding base. Instead of reporting to one or two funders, most organisations now need to manage a whole basket of funding, which requires more complex and over-lapping information collection demands on the grant recipient.
The first step in ensuring good quality reporting to funders, and the success of the project overall, is to make sure that you target the right funding source for the right activity. A Funding Profile helps you to do this by looking at different scenarios for targeting various sources of funding, using an excel spreadsheet. This enables changes to be made as the funding strategy develops and provides a detailed record of funding awards for use in monitoring forms etc.
