Job Description
Organisation at the forefront in the struggle for racial equality in housing is seeking new volunteers to assist within the admin & finance team, housing advice casework team, new migrants action project and training department. Issues such as homelessness, racial harassment, unmet housing need and restricted employment/training opportunities are some of the areas being addressed. You will be required to support other staff members, volunteers and service users. Travel expenses incurred to and from the office by public transport will be reimbursed on production of receipts. If working between 10am & 3pm lunch costs of up to £3 per day are also reimbursed. You may donate as much or as little time as you want, however, you will be required to agree the times you are available. It is hoped that volunteers will not only enjoy their experience with the organisation but also gain from in terms of their own personal objectives and development.
