Our Skills for Small Business programme encourages long-term commitment
towards employee skills development by offering advice and grant
assistance to companies with a workforce of up to 50 employees
within GNRA boundaries.
What
Type Of Support Does GNRA Offer?
- Identification
of how the Skills for Small Business programme has a relevance
to your business aims and objectives.
- Identification
of requirements to meet the Investors in People standard.
- A full
training needs analysis (TNA) to determine your company's training
and non-training needs.
- Development
of a structured training programme.
- Monitoring
and review of training program and its success.
How Will
The 'Skills For Small Business' Programme Help My Company?
- It shall
meet the training needs identified by both employer and employee.
- It is
relevant to all industrial sectors.
- This
programme does not exclude other initiatives or funding and
it can be integrated with other services and training whether
that is provided through Glasgow North Regeneration Agency or through another
agency.
Is There
Financial Assistance To Implement The Programme?
YES
- up to 50% of the total cost of training (not including VAT)
can be funded.
What
About 'Investors In People'?
The
Skills for Small Business programme is linked to the Investors
in People standard and has been designed to develop a life-long
learning strategy within each organisation.

To
participate on the Skills for Small Business programme your company
must meet the following criteria:

have 50 employees or less
- be based
in the Glasgow North Regeneration Agency area
