The purpose of the programme is to develop the skills and knowledge of Managers ensuring their own continued and profitable development in an increasingly dynamic and competitive market place. The key thrust of the programme is a skills transfer and an improvement of strategic orientation including:
- Offering
participants a range of tools and techniques for analysing
and understanding their own business as it operates in
a dynamic environment:
“The ability to learn faster than your competitors
may be the only sustainable competitive advantage”.
Peter Senge.
- Developing
the ability to adopt a more holistic perspective of your
business both internally and across the environment in
which it operates:
“It is not the strongest species that survive,
nor the most intelligent, but the ones most responsive
to change”. Charles Darwin.
- Developing
the ability to manage and respond to change.
“Change after all is only another word for growth”.
Charles Handy.
Over 120 SMEs in the north of Glasgow have attended one or more courses on the programme over the past 10 years and feedback and research has confirmed that, without exception, each has improved business performance as a result, having an overall impact on the financial sustainability of the business.
